No body knows how often Immigration checks a day or not.

What is the experience like at Padang Besar border crossing into Thailand with a Tourist visa?

I usually make my border run to Wang Prajan (Satun) but never, ever paid a single satang or ringgit. Not on the Thai Side, not on the Malaysian side, although might be different for "locals". So an update would be much apreciated, thanks.

 - Now that must have f**it them up completely. Finally they managed to sort out about entering Thailand by air or land and now you come along and ask them about entering by sea :-)
