the TDAC is an arrival card. Everyone must fill this out online every time time they want to enter Thailand.

This has nothing to do with a visa, visa exempt or the number of days you want to stay.

If you are from a country that is visa exempt, then you will get a 60 day stay stamp.

You are supposed to check in 3 hours before your flight anyway.

So I do not see the problem that you will want to check in after midnight.

You are applying for a tourist visa. So you are visiting Thailand as a tourist.

When you want to extend it, you are extending a tourist visa, so you are still a tourist.

When you go for the extention you have to take along a TM30 form, to proof where you are staying. Your girlfriend must apply online for the TM30 and give you a copy. If you are staying with her from the beginning she has to do the TM30 within 24 hours if your arrival.
