what’d I tell you? too much time. I asked a question about pricing for the visa, of which there were 100+ answers.
not at all the same as a grown ass, 80 year old looking dude waking up to whine about people in a facebook group of which he voluntarily joined, about messages he elects to receive.
bro, be sensible and stop being a nuisance. if you can’t see the difference, you’re as silly as he is
my kasikorn bank card only works at VISA atms (which apparently isn’t all atms). found one bank in bali that it actually worked at. didn’t work at any other bank atms. I searched visa atms and found the specific ones and tried those with success.
weirdly enough, didn’t work at the visa atm in the US tho :(
I hate when people try and shame others especially about finances by saying they should be grateful for whatever opportunity. it tells me how you might be treating thai people, many of whom will be more concerned with finances than you. “we” are not monolithic, we come from many different circumstances and we’re all trying to better our lives. we don’t need you to come in and tell us we should be okay with anything. if you’re okay. pay whatever a government tells you to pay and shut up. but leave the more conscious and critical of us to our own ways.
ok I also for a time thought it was 16K and was sick. but every time I do a exchange check ฿500,000 comes up less than 14K so i’m rocking with that. and no you don’t have to keep it there but whenever you reapply for the visa i’ve heard you’ll have to keep proving you’ve got that much in the bank ready. 😫
also... I attached a printed out account transaction history my bank gave me as my financial proof cause I didnt want to wait 30 days for a new statement that would show the requisite amount.. im not broke but I definitely didn't have $14,000 all in one account. im hoping they dont kick it back and ask for an actual bank statement 🥹 anyone out there wanna calm nerves and tell me everything will be fine? haha
