with AIS you can check it and change it if needed by using the app.

Just out of interest, which mobile phone provider are you with? The AIS app will let you see what the name attached to your phone number is and if its different from yours, which mine was, it will let you update the name. Im unsure if the other network providers offer the same service on their apps.

of course I dont think everyone is trying to open a bank account in Bangkok, that would be as stupid as this comment. Im just sharing my experience of opening a bank account in Bangkok and hoping it can be of assistance to someone in the future. Your comment is unhelpful and unwanted.

it's was actually very easy with Kasikorn, you wouldn't even need an agent. I didnt take one with me, my girlfriend came with me in case translations were needed.

this was what I was saying to my girlfriend, the way they seem to have responded to the banking changes by going well over seems to suggest some form of guilt. Hopefully this bunch of comments can help people and save them time in the future.
