I went to Chatuchak, they checked my paperwork, gave me the link to the video to watch at home, and made an appointment three days later. Went back, showed proof that I watched the video and took the color, depth and peripheral tests. Got license. They did not care about my IDP, and they would not give me a motorcycle license even though I have one in the US.

FYI…immigration would not provide me a residence cert while on the 90 day non-o retirement visa. Kbank did accept a rental agreement though.

this happened to me. Immigration would not issue a resident certificate until I had done my 90 day report Kasikorn Bank did accept a rental agreement and I was able to open an account.

Thx. Appreciate your feedback. Just FYI I called the airline and the agent I spoke to on the phone did say I would need an onward or return ticket regardless, but I don’t think they understood. I guess I’ll find out🤷
