it’s a bit of a catch 22. You can’t get a visa without a bank account . And you can’t get a bank account without a visa . Take 50k baht and go over to TMT visa .

The REAL question is WHY do you want a bank account in Thailand? With the world today and all its transfer services it may be easier to do things another way …

The mother probably feels like you don’t deserve to show her off at a wedding if you’re NOT a grand part of the little girls life consistently, and I’m not talking about only money . In that situation I’d have to agree with the mother, sorry . So without more details about your connection to your daughter and her age , we all can just make general assumptions based off the stereotype of a greedy Thai baby mother when they’re two sides to every story . 😏
