I have friends who use the marriage visa ( only because it’s less money to hold in the bank) but even after 24 years I still see them being asked for yet another photo or something.

Get a normal retirement visa and then you can live 2 hours away 😂

here pretty much all. Find one location you like and email them. Use TRIP or AGODA to search them out.

Low season like now is easier to get a deal but always try

Just take a monthly rent at a hotel. They will go deals for longer term stay and use that time to look around, sort you visa etc
