I doubt it’s SEPA.

- SEPA is free while wise always has fees when sending.

- if I send SEPA between European banks, it’s never within seconds.

Stress? It’s fun. It’s a color, reaction and 3D test and 50(?) multiple choice questions that every farang driver can answer.

Plus of course the very hard test in the oval with parking and stopping at a stop sign 😂😂

Yep. Thailand slowly adopts rules that are international standard.

In 50 years it will not have any advantage over Italy or Greece except being hotter and having another food 😂

The point is that they don’t have other sources than the agents. So what you linked doesn’t add any content that wasn’t known before.

It isn’t useful to anybody because the OP contained the same information “agents say”

In many if not all other countries it’s normal to enter with a visa from an embassy and not as a tourist and getting a visa in the country.

As far as I know you can get a green card in the US. And you can’t get a B visa in Switzerland after entering the country either. Same for the EU.

Your Link isn’t useful. It only cites the agencies again.

That’s no proof that the standard way of getting a long term stay is blocked: NonO from embassy, enter the country, open account.

And what about doing it without an agent?

I have never used one for anything here in Thailand.

They only take your money to either bribe somebody to get what isn’t legal. Or they just ask a lot of money for little work (e.g. 3000+ for driver license 🤣)

Stocks. And because you have to ask:

Buy MSCI world ETF for 150k and only the rest in bank for emergencies.

And: open your broker account before moving! It’s way easier to prove your residence.

An eSIM is 100% the same as a SIM card.

Maybe you should read the manual of your phone to see if it does what you need.

Then I suggest getting a tourist visa, out 800k in a bank and do the retirement extension yearly.
