I did that in Taiwan. Sole Proprietor from Quebec, Canada but there’s a govt website I can go to see my business details. I printed that along with everything else they wanted.

Did you send any invoices? Proof of payment from clients?

I had to show the deposits into my bank account with the matching invoice details going back a few months (applied in Taipei)

Can a Tax Free Savings Account (TFSA) be used as proof of funds for immigration purposes?

It depends on where you apply but I had some in my proof of funds and they didn’t acknowledge it nor question it. I did have my proof of funds from a few banks.
