are you thick?? I had my account before on another visa.. transferred to the DTV because it's longer.. now I've had my account shut because im on a DTV... how dumb are you mr detective...

i just spent 2 hours at the bank trying to save my existing account, i provided all statements with proof of income and proof of all my transfers to my thai bank that I've have for 18 months and they said no and cancelled it.. I said that so many people still have there's on a DTV and they said "not for long" ... they wouldn't even give me a cent i have to go back on Thursday to get my cash out..

No point anymore, baht is shite , bank accounts are getting closed the scams are wild fire now and the price of everything is going up.. ive spent 10 years here in the last 25 years.. its gone downhill big time..

yea .. as sad as it is .. the thailand visa situation is no good anymore .. ive spent about 10 years living here in the last 25 years.. never had issues until now, even tho they are bigger visas its all about access to money to live.. and now it's all changed again... im Australian , so the exchange rate is horrible and won't ever come back.. so its not like I'm crying about it ..but its just not worth being here anymore .. Bali has a 1 year multi entry tourist visa that you can get a rental with.. and its really easy and cheap to fly to do a border run there.. might get my money off the bank and head there and see if things get better ... il research Vietnam in the meantime..
