Do I need to take my children to extend a Non O marriage visa in Thailand?

i can understand your point. However a NON-O visa based on marriage to a thai national has nothing to do with children. The extension of stay is also based on marriage. Pointing children through the current hell of queuing for hours in a pandemic would not be advised.
