G’day Biff, if your going back to the states, if you can, get yourself a non-o visa 90 day, single entry visa, once back in Thailand, go see a reputable visa agent, I used Anna’s visa in Hua Hin, get yourself a retirement visa with multiple entry, process is straight forward, only took 2 days, good luck mate 👍

Come on a non-o 90 day single entry visa, it will make the process so much easier for the retirement visa, that’s what I did, I went to Anna’s visa all done in two days, check Anna’s visa on her Facebook page, you book an appointment on there.

I got a non- o 90 day visa single entry before I left Australia, got to Hua Hin, went to Anna’s visa, they do everything for, they got me my retirement visa and opened my bank account, no complaints here.

You can not open a bank account on a tourist visa.

My friend is on a tourist visa and is having major problems trying to get a retirement visa, just saying.

I applied for a non-o 90 day single entry from Australia, I’m retired, cost me $120 Australian, had to show proof of residence in Australia, screen shot water and electricity bills and screen shot bank statements (blacked out all band account details) once here, I applied for my retirement visa, multiple entries, I went through Anna’s Visa, she’s on face book.

I had everything done through Anna’s Visa in Hua Hin, they take you to immigration as well as take you to KBank and setup your bank account, easy process.
