Think you can, my understanding is as long as you have the funds and and you can show and prove how the money comes in, you'll be fine. The emphasis is on the having the required money Sat in your saving/current account.
I showed them my current account dating back 3 months, and my savings. Joined both files together and added a note saying my I don't keep the required amount in my current account. The savings was just the day of the export, as no activity to show. Worked fine, got approved.

They asked me for 3 months statements advising I needed to prove I had the required each month. That's silly, so I did the above, showed them 3 months of statements, and joined a shot of my separate savings and wrote on it saying I don't keep that amount in my checking account. Was fine and was approved within 12 days.
