I'm planning to do this too. Just 4-6 months then go home. I have to leave in a couple weeks. I was planning on doing 5 days somewhere else then coming back in for a few more months then going home.
Last time I did this, the officer wanted to see that I had a ticket home (which I did).
I'm on the 30 days on arrival, if I wanted to switch to a tourist visa, I could do it online through the US website? I've done it before, but I was in america at the time. Could I do it here without leaving the country?
Ok great, so Malaysia is a possibility to travel to. I'm currently unaware of their travel situation. Do they have strict quarantine restrictions? I imagine you'd have to travel somewhere after your 90 days right?
Thinking of doing that too, but again, just not sure where i'd border jump to. The extra 30 days from the TV gives me a bit more time for things to potentially chill out.
Thanks Jared. Just want to clarify as I was unaware of this covid extension. Currently you can arrive on a 60 day TV then extend 30 days, then extend 60 more days at immigration under the current covid extension. That is if they choose to extend that policy beyond November 26?
