You do not need to pay the hospital. My consulate required an appointment card from the hospital. So you can make an appointment for 1-2 weeks after your arrival to thailand. Have them email you the appointment card. Idk what these people are talking about with entire treatment plans and all that. I simply did not have to do that. Maybe it’s changed recently?
