If this is Tourist Visa, from my experience (just arrived in BKK last week), yes they need to show a paid confirmation of a booking accommodation for the entire period of their stay, even if they are staying at your house.
Just for context, I am on a 60 day TR Visa, and the one I bought from Sompo does not seem to claimable if it's considered "non-essential travel" (still waiting for their response)
How much did you pay for your full year of insurance! Also, would you advise me to purchase travel insurance from a Singapore company or a Thai company instead? I'm trying to purchase from a SG company, but there seems to be lack of clarity about being unable to claim if it's considered "non-essential travel".
thank you lah! OK I am trying desperately to reduce the overall cost of my "non-essential trip" as much as I can. Curious - what travel insurance did you buy?
I saw that the MOH approved clinics give out the lab test and a memo - Thailand requests for the fit to fly? And how much did it cost you? Also, did you do the test on the day you flew?
thank you for your detailed reply - looks like it was the same for me! There wasn’t any interview for me. Just submission and verification of documents.
