You can not get a tourist visa unless you have outbound flight within 30 days or exactly at 30 days. Not longer.

You need to show outbound flight within 30 days to do visa on arrival. You can stay 2 days over and pay a small fine but I dont think they let you in without a 60 day visa you get before coming if the return flight is 32 days. Not sure if they let you in. Ask Thai embassy in your home.

Yes I believe if you go in person you may apply for a Visa no problem that's why I went there. You go to the Thai embassy they give you some paperwork and you come back the next day with everything unless you know what you need and bang you get your Visa.
