I wasnt aware that's what MTT stood for. But thanks.

The information I was going by was from the immigration website so I assumed that would be reliable.

It says that if the head of household doesnt own the condo you need the paperwork from the owner. I didnt see any distinction for different locations.

Clearly I'm not "believing everything I read on the interwebs" since I'm here seeking first hand information 🤷‍♂️

Well it does seem to matter because if the landlord is responsible how will we be able to file it without him being there? Everything I've read seems to indicate that if you dont own the condo/apartment the actual building owner needs to do the regiatration.

I would rather know now if I need to try and get something from them before I travel all the way to Chaengwattana.

I'm planning to go there sometime next week.

Does immigration inside thailand accept a letter and copy of the rental contract the same way the embassy did then?

And who is responsible for doing the TM30? The landlord or my girlfriend?

Can we do the TM30 ourselves if the landlord wont?

I'll be going a lot sooner than that but someone else must have done an STV visa renewal with the future date for their full insurance and accommodation coverage and can confirm if immigration asked for all the relevant paperwork again.

When you go to the amphur, do you need to take two witnesses to sign the paperwork too?

id love to see a Thai citizen with no legal status try to open an account in the UK or another western country.
