What is the current proof of funds requirement for visa exemption and VOA when entering Thailand through DMK?

Can someone confirm what the latest proof of funds amount is required for visa exemption and voa when flying into dmk?

I was pretty confident that it was the equivalent of 10k baht per person but have seen a lot of people claiming 20k baht lately.

Really not keen on carrying around $1200 in cash for 2 people for a week when our biggest expenses are already paid for.
