Hello! I’ll be leaving vancouver Canada April 1st at 2am to BKK. I have my covid-19 test booked for 29th of March at 11am. I land in Taiwan at 5:30am on April 2nd and depart at 8:30am. I am just wondering does my test still have to be within 72 hours when I board my connecting flight in Taiwan?
Anyone have issues?
TLDR : Answer Summary
The traveler is inquiring if their COVID-19 test, scheduled for March 29, will still be valid when boarding their connecting flight in Taiwan on April 2, as the test must be taken within 72 hours before the first flight departure. Responses from the community suggest that the countdown starts at the time the test result is received, and it is generally acceptable. Additionally, there is discussion regarding the need for a Special Tourist Visa (STV) due to current regulations, highlighting that processes can vary and may take time.
