Anonymous participant Yes, the seasoning is confusing of late. Do you have 3 months seasoned? Some recent applicants have also been approved without 3 months seasoned. Contact the embassies to confirm.

There is not an actual list of the differences as far as I know. They are pretty much the same in terms of application. Vietnam maybe getting more strict on having 3 months seasoning of the 500k, some say.

Anonymous participant You just need to show you are staying in the SE Asian country at time of application. Plenty of non resident UKers obtained their DTV in that region.

Agreed, Manilla Thai Embassy is very helpful and responsive to emails. When I was researching where to apply for my DTV they were the most helpful and responsive.
