TLDR : Answer Summary
There is no official list detailing the differences between applying for a Soft Power DTV in Indonesia and Vietnam. The application processes are generally similar; however, Vietnam might be becoming stricter regarding the requirement for a minimum balance of 500,000, possibly requiring a 3-month seasoning.

There is not an actual list of the differences as far as I know. They are pretty much the same in terms of application. Vietnam maybe getting more strict on having 3 months seasoning of the 500k, some say.

went to HCM and they needed 6mos bank statement. As long as you have all the legit paper works and bank statement that shows you can financially provide for yourself and closing account of 500k baht they might approve it. We waited for a week

Anonymous participant Yes, the seasoning is confusing of late. Do you have 3 months seasoned? Some recent applicants have also been approved without 3 months seasoned. Contact the embassies to confirm.
