Anonymous participant 112 Exactly, all visas have cons to them so this attempt to downgrade the DTV is silly especially when the person is on a glorified tourist visa themselves.
You can stay a year if you want via an IO extension. Also have others posted you can border cross well within a day and get a new 180 day stamp. The multi entry aspect of the visa is what attracts many to it. Going abroad for a few hours or days to establish life in Thailand is no big deal. A retirement visa renewed yearly also denotes glorified tourist status.
BrilliantMouse3131 I think Wise is excellent.Revolut is another option. True money, Moreta are useful apps, never used them though but you can find posts in the threads on them.
Very high chances of approval if you choose a 6 month plus course with a reputable DTV approved gym. There are 70 plus years of age on the DTV Muay Thai.
Very true and also some offices give you a pending approval slip which adds more anxiety. Taking a trip nearby which majority intend to do anyway on the DTV is a no brainer to get a fresh 180 day stamp.
Is the embassy requesting an embassy certified bank statement? I got my bank certificate just by emailing the bank. They should be able to email it to you
Anonymous participant You may hear this week then, yeah upload it to where you upload the requested docs? you applied for workcation? you applying again in Vietnam?
