OMG 360 days is basically a year. Retirement visa has to be renewed yearly and is a glorified tourist visa In your words. Gives no permanent right of stay and just because there is no border hop involved it does not change its' glorified tourist status .

He is being very silly today. You can stay for 5 years with a DTV. Being on a glorified tourist visa himself you would think he would have more sense to play around with wording to make a pointless point.

Yes, it is categorized as a TV whilst other visas not under TV have similar restrictions hence their glorified TV status,

it is a glorified tourist visa as are many other visas, The issue is those on other glorified tourist visas who fail to see their similar status themselves. Apparently easy access to a bank account without the need to do a border hop is akin to citizenship.
