When I was in London applying for my regular Non O, the guy before me had his main bank account which didn't have enough funds in it. He then showed a 2nd statement (not sure where from) which covered the financial requirements. So as long as you can prove you have the funds and they aren't locked in and can be withdrawn you may be OK. Can't guarantee though I am afraid.

An extension of your visa is easy enough to get. 1,900 Baht from your local immigration office. Piece of mind as well. Seems to be lots of check points and checks these days as well

I've always had the documents I needed. One time I forgot a copy and they asked me to get and they braced for a farang special but I was ok krub and they just smiled and said thanks. Treat them with respect and they are nice and respectful back. Samw goes to the airport immigration staff.

This is common decent you'd extend in your own country, quite why people don't do it here I will never understand.
