Me and my brother are heading to Thailand this summer to do some backpacking. We will be there for 34 days and will be leaving for a short break during the time to visit Cambodia. We will enter and leave Asia through Thailand. Do we need a multiple entry tourist visa or will we be okay with the visa exemption (also if we chose to go to laos, there for entering Thailand 3 times during the trip, will that change things for the visa exemption).
Thanks for your time folks - owe you all one...

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the necessity of a multiple entry tourist visa for their 34-day backpacking trip in Thailand, which includes visits to Cambodia and possibly Laos, resulting in entering Thailand multiple times. Responses clarify that with a visa exemption, travelers are limited to two land border crossings per year but can fly into Thailand unlimited times. Many suggest that if planning multiple entries, flying might be a better option.
