I've never known of anyone to show fund at the 90 day report as that's done when getting the visa and/or applying for an extension. And to be honest, I also doubt that you were asked for proof of funds at your 90 day report unless you also applied for an extension or a new visa on the same day.

I'm currently stuck on your interpretation of still thinking you have to show the money when talking about the 90 day report actually means you don't need to show the money. Maybe you could help explain your thinking on that point.

yes he will, the new rules are only for those who apply for the Thai Pass from 1 March.

it might be cheaper but if you need to change anything or your flight gets cancelled then you effectively lose all control and have to rely on the agent to make changes, get your refund etc.
