Does anyone have recent experience leaving Thailand while on a Non B visa and coming back?

I live and work in Thailand. So, I will get the re-entry form done and go back to visit my home country and then am unsure if I will need to apply for anything further than SHA+ hotel for my return.

Thanks for reading.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To leave Thailand while on a Non B visa and ensure a smooth return, you will need to apply for a re-entry permit. Additionally, you must secure a Thailand Pass before coming back. It's important to check the latest guidelines regarding SHA+ hotels as part of your re-entry process.

You've got the re-entry permit, you'll be fine. You just need to apply for the Thai Pass.

As you mentioned you’ll need the re-entry permit. You’ll also need to get a ThailandPass and the hoops that entails.

Thanks for your reply.

The man at the local immigration office told me just do the re-entry form and no need for Thailand Pass but I figures he might not actually know.

Will check the link then.

you need the Thai Pass but you can use your social security number instead of getting the insurance.

that’s fairly typical. They know the rules for staying in Thailand but not up to date with requirements to get in to Thailand.
