that was my number one concern, trying to board the plane with a one way ticket. I may just book a cheap flight out of Thailand just so I have something to show them.

I am legally married to a Thai. We were married in Thailand. I have all the necessary paperwork. I’m mostly concerned about the one way flight.

You can get the TM7 form, photo copies and passport photos in the lower level of the building. When you go downstairs stay to your left. The shop will be on your right. If I remember correctly the photo copies and the passport photos cost roughly 100baht. Ask her for the form as well.

am I able to get passport photos and the required forms to fill out at this office? Just wondering if I can get all the photo copies I require there instead of getting them before hand. Or would you suggest I do so before I go.

Don’t over stay. It could end up hurting your chances of being allowed back down the road. Just go to immigration office or travel to Laos, Cambodia, etc. I chose leaving for a weekend to Laos. Air travel and accommodations to Laos is cheap.

Here’s what happened to me yesterday leaving my home country, Canada with a return trip air ticket. The ticket was for 45 day stay in Thailand. When I tried to get on the plane in Toronto they flagged me as I was trying to board. They asked me for a visa because of the length of my trip. I explained to them I have already purchased a ticket to Laos before the 30 days was up. They didn’t ask to see prof and let me in the plane.

When I filled out the immigration form I put the date I was leaving for Laos as the date of departing Thailand. No questions asked. I’ll get another 30 days when I return from Laos. Good luck to you and enjoy your first trip to this wonderful country. I’m sure you will return again.
