mate of mine got locked up for a while for over staying his visa. I mean it was by 10 or 15 yrs. but still..

think he got rumbled when he signed up for anew broadband provider or cell service using his real details

yes it may well be but I also have friends of mine that have been recently telling me not to worry about anything and just sort it out when I land, or sites like CM locals that gives different info again. . So I just wanted to triple check

yea tbh the longest flight I've done before is 8-10.

yes possibly, again it's more of a (potential) money saving angle. The diff between 1200 or 5-600 would go a long way over there :)

minimum of a month. I do travel quite light tbh, done weeks or months away with just backpack and wheelie carry on size case thingy... Especially when not packing for "winter"
