so you are saying if i have a long term visa - yearly renewal - I will need to get it transferred to my new passport? I can’t just carry two passports?

maybe… I tried different ways to clarify it… like using hand gesture to demarcate between day 14 from due date and after… she seemed to suggest after is not acceptable. But could be lost in translation… who knows. Would love to hear how it goes in the next few weeks etc and hear of other peoples’ experiences
