How can I extend my OA visa for a more permanent stay in Thailand, and what are the appointment booking procedures?

Quick advise needed. I entered Bangkok mail with my son on a 90 day education (him) and me (OA) visa. Now I need to go to the immigration to get a more permanent one - renewable every year. I was given this link to fix an appointment but I’m unclear which link to click on. I spoke to a visa agent which wanted to charge me 18k to do! Seems like a lot.

Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking guidance on extending their OA visa while in Thailand with their son, who is on an education visa. They received a link for booking an immigration appointment but are unsure which link to follow and mention a high fee from a visa agent. Comments indicate that appointments can only be booked online seven days in advance and suggest the user may need to visit immigration directly.

The school just told me that I can only book online for an appointment 7days prior. So looks like I have to make the trip there first thing in the morning and wait.
