So can I buy return ticket for days and get 30 day visa on arriival? Then extend this in Thailand?

Thanks all. I have extended from the exit date for further 30 days. Just to let you know ....On the phone they told me to go to office near Silom. I went there and they told me to go to Bldg B, ChangWatana. When I got in there ..they told me to go to IT Laksi. This was just a small office (only one staff doing extension) on 3rd floor of a half abandoned shopping mall. Totally unorganised. But okay in the end.

I would take another PCR to be sure. Mistakes, and errors happen, especially in Thailand.
