It didn't effect me for visa extensions even though UK has been open for a long while. I think the extensions are coming to an end though. They are asking for ongoing flights, to anywhere in order to get the extension.

don't think Burma is an option right now. Laos, Malaysia or Cambodia better.

Some borders prefer you leave a day between exit and entry. It was the case a few times.

Depending on the immigration office you won't need a British Embassy letter. Apply for a covid extension on your last day without it. Some offices are more lenient. A TM30 showing your address or hotel will be needed.

no it's 60 days from an embassy or consulate. Then extensions are 30 days for 1900 baht.

A day overstay should be just a fine. They just want the paperwork in order so try a hotel tm30 and pay the fine.
