Most online systems don’t list every country that existed. They get a list of current countries from a database. People who were born in Leipzig don’t put “East Germany” as their birthplace either.

Just put Town/oblast/Russia

Once again - don’t use an agent for DTV. If costs you more time, more money and more complications. Why one earth would you do this??

it’s not about morality… it’s the idea that it will take you more time and effort with an agent than without. If your time is worth something, do it yourself…

Why would anyone want to try that? Can you explain your goal for having a bank account in Thailand with money just sitting there? No bank is going to give you any rate of interest worth thinking about…
