Has anyone applied DTV using Thai Company Registration where you are a director/shareholder of that company?

I am aware that DTV is not a substitute for Non-B visa or a Work Permit.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The Digital Transformation Visa (DTV) is not intended for individuals using a Thai legal entity for their work. Comments suggest that applying for the DTV visa while being a director or shareholder of a Thai company is unlikely to be accepted, as the visa is designed for digital nomads operating independently from Thailand.

Not likely to get the DTV Visa. It's for those who are legitimate digital nomads providing goods and services to clients outside of Thailand.

Doesn’t that completely defeat the entire purpose of the DTV?

With the DTV you will not be able to use a Thai legal entity. If you do any work for the inside Thailand, even if the contract was outside, you need a B and a WP

It’s very unlikely that will be acceptable.
