Can you apply for a DTV visa using a Thai company registration as a director/shareholder?

Has anyone applied DTV using Thai Company Registration where you are a director/shareholder of that company?

I am aware that DTV is not a substitute for Non-B visa or a Work Permit.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The consensus among the commenters is that applying for the Digital Work Visa (DTV) while being a director or shareholder of a Thai company is not feasible. The DTV is designed for digital nomads who do not engage in work within Thailand, and any association with a Thai legal entity, such as being a company director, generally disqualifies an applicant from receiving the DTV. Therefore, it is advised to consider alternative visa options, such as the Non-B visa or obtaining a work permit, if work within Thailand is intended.

No chance of the DTV being approved based on that. You can't have any relationship with a Thai entity

With the DTV you can not work in Thailand. Being a director of a company in Thailand would mean you are working in Thailand which is not legal.

Not likely to get the DTV Visa. It's for those who are legitimate digital nomads providing goods and services to clients outside of Thailand.

Doesn’t that completely defeat the entire purpose of the DTV?

With the DTV you will not be able to use a Thai legal entity. If you do any work for the inside Thailand, even if the contract was outside, you need a B and a WP

It’s very unlikely that will be acceptable.
