@Steve ******
sure, it's something I was concerned about as it stated that rule on my application. I'm just simply sharing that it wasn't a problem that the first entry was 5 months after approval

I applied through the UK Thai embassy and you had to give your date of arrival in Thailand and it had to be within 3 months of your visa being approved.

Other embassy's may vary

It depends which embassy you are applying with as they all have their own interpretation

As a dependant I had to show the show funds but ut was fine for it to be between 2 accounts. I had to combine both statements onto one pdf.

My friend from NZ didn't have the show the funds for a dependant.

So each place varies.

We phoned and asked the question and found them to be very helpful.

brilliant thanks, I'm putting a tentative date on my form but if I end up entering later than that date, is it ok?

thanks for the info,

Does the visa start on entry?

How do you get the physical stamp in your passport?

did you apply online? Or just book an appointment in person?
