bad advice. You most likely booked TP under old test n go arrangement. No hotel needed for day 5 then. New arrangements you need hotel for day 5 - too many idiots who didnt show up for their free day 5 test.

Yes. The TP requires booking confirmation, which won't be issued until someone pays for it. Proof of purchase for things such as insurance, hotel (and pcr) bookings, flight tickets all need to be provided when applying for TP.

Debra Jane agreed the extra luggage option would be cheaper. But for those who can afford, they might decide an extra seat is worth getting around having to close contact isolate.

Buy two seats and get 2 x luggage allowance? Book a window seat with the seat next to you empty. That way no close contact isolation needed from someone next to you testing positive
