What is the latest procedure for obtaining a re-entry permit attached to an extension of stay for a non-O visa? I will be flying out of BKK airport. As I understand, there is a reentry permit desk just before passport control....what documents do I need to provide and what is the cost for the single reentry permit?

TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain a single re-entry permit attached to a NON-O visa at Bangkok airport, you need to go to the re-entry permit desk before passport control. The necessary documents include your passport and the fee, which is typically 1200 baht. There are no additional documents required such as photos or forms, although having a completed form may reduce the cost to 1000 baht (with a photo included for 200 baht). Make sure to have the appropriate cash ready for the transaction.

okay boyz and squirrellz this isn't brain science or rocket surgery

Take your passport, 1200 baht for a single re-entry, or 4000baht for a multiple re-entry and buy one at the airport before you fly out.

You don't need anything else, so let's not make it harder than it is.

Just the money your passport and show up at the re-entry permit counter..

no photos needed? From memory it was just the form last time I travelled away from Thailand.

The 200 baht service fee includes the form and photo. If you bring a completed form and a photo the Permit will cost 1000 baht
