have to admit, the vast majority of tourists i've met are dipshits, so Thailand is lucky i'm not in charge. i'd send e'm ALL to Dubai.

nope. can't blame 'em for trying.

a lot of people will stay home anyway even if they can go with no quarantine. some are wary of virus, and some are wary of their now-empty bank accounts.

they are indeed 2 separate things. i haven't flown into Thailand but i've been to work sites that require 'em.

the fit to fly thingy is basically just a note from your docto saying you've got no symptoms.

Then it's a de facto visa. Apparently you do need a work permit, but it's automatic more or less.

there is such a thing as permanent residency, however. Don't know that much about it except that one must be considerably better at the Thai language than I am.
