I may want to do a business trip to Germany (US passport). To get back in i'd need:

I already have a non-B visa and can buy a reentry simply enough.

I'd need some additional COVID insurance, if my health insurance doesn't cover enough, a fit-to-fly certificate from a Doctor which includes a COVID test (PCR?)

anything else i need to know?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When planning a business trip from Thailand to Germany with a US passport and a non-B visa, you will need to secure a reentry permit for Thailand. Additionally, ensure you have a fit-to-fly certificate from a doctor, which includes a separate COVID-19 test (usually PCR). You may also need sufficient COVID-19 health insurance. It is important to obtain a Certificate of Entry (COE), which might require clarification on where to obtain it—either in Thailand or at a consulate in Germany.

Fit to fly and Covid test are two separate things

could probably get 'em on the same Dr visit though i'd imagine... but yeah it's easy enough to get a COVID test without seeing a doc.

do you know if one can order food from ASQ, or is one at the mercy of the quarantining hotel?

@Je**
Yes you can order food. Hotels have a separate menu you can order from, and they do daily 7-11 runs. Delivery is not permitted though, unless its family bringing home made food.
