I may want to do a business trip to Germany (US passport). To get back in i'd need:
I already have a non-B visa and can buy a reentry simply enough.
I'd need some additional COVID insurance, if my health insurance doesn't cover enough, a fit-to-fly certificate from a Doctor which includes a COVID test (PCR?)
anything else i need to know?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When planning a business trip from Thailand to Germany with a US passport and a non-B visa, you will need to secure a reentry permit for Thailand. Additionally, ensure you have a fit-to-fly certificate from a doctor, which includes a separate COVID-19 test (usually PCR). You may also need sufficient COVID-19 health insurance. It is important to obtain a Certificate of Entry (COE), which might require clarification on where to obtain it—either in Thailand or at a consulate in Germany.
