Immigration new office moved near to the airport now. Bring your original TM30 and passport, go to Counter “1” get a number (tell her for update TM30) and wait for number to call. It’s FREE for this update. 1st time need Report 24hrs, after can be Report 1-2wks (some said 1mth but I usually not wait that long)

Yes, got all paperwork from both school & ministry of education, school prepared all that, same for the 1st year, no problem before

In the paperwork got her test result that she passed the test for beginners course

on the receipt from school it stated “advanced Thai course” and she call in front of the officer so the school owner talked to the officer directly and was told that is the case now

No need do in person, you just need bring his TM30 paper and passport, anyone can do on behalf. Especially he already had it done 1st time, any trip after the officer just stamp updated date on same paper ~am talking this in Chiang Mai, not sure if other office will be same

Do I need to do a TM30 report if I leave and re-enter Thailand without changing my address?

I did it last month in Chiang Mai, was told by the officer only 1st time need Report within 24hrs, after that can go within 1-2weeks after return to Thailand. I’ve been in and out many times but only report on last trip back to CM just as I need renew my 1yr visa. They don’t care those trips in between...
