Let’s keep a good reply to a simple question, what this link should be, helping an expat in a difficult situation who needs help, so often we forget we were once taking a giant step our own!! Help each other’s, brothers and sisters, we were their once !!
Firstly sorry for your loss. I’m a bit like you my partner had the answers and so would you in your own country so your not alone, similar tire thing coming back north from Bk great people. I don’t know your previous situation regarding who owns car etc but make sure your names on the book and you have licence etc etc then go round your expat friends before you go on journey and put as many salient numbers in a small book and keep in car such as embassy numbers, friends, 24hr roadside assistance in Thailand etc, keep in car so you feel comfortable, and practice changing a tire. Sorry if I sound condescending but only trying to help. Good luck in your journey 🙏🙏
Comes from the word foreigner that the locals could not say when foreigners first arrived, as the ‘eig’ was impossible to translate, it is not a derogatory word at all, nor the word qualo (spelt wrong) that the Chinese call us, meaning white ghost, if people take offence now a days it is their lack of understand of a foreigner in another’s land, and no I’m not a ‘woke person!!!
