Update: I figured out the problem. What a royal mess. So, despite the fact that obviously the country code comes before the phone number in terms of fields on the page, the country code must be chosen AFTER the phone number in order for the phone number to be accepted. Makes perfect sense, right? Pete wins! "Clunky" is an understatement. I discovered this by trying to change the country code to Thailand thinking maybe it simply didn't like the U.S. (kidding...sort of) then switching it back...voila. It worked.

ok, this falls under the "everything else" category.

For months, I've been having prhoblem after problem after problem with the AirAsia website. The most recent is today and I'm wondering if any other Americans (meaning folks still having a U.S. phone number and/or emergency contacts in the U.S.) have run into the same and, if so, what they've done to work around it.

The website will not accept my cell phone nor that of my daughter as being valid mobile numbers. As a result, I cannot book a ticket. This is urgent as I'm trying to book a ticket for Tuesday. For those who might say, "Just try another airline". VietJet's website won't do a search at all for the dates I'm trying, even though third party sites say there are flights and the app won't open without an error, lol. It seems someone doesn't want me to take this flight (maybe a sign?).

Thanks to anyone who may have encountered this and be able to share a solution. I could not think of where else to ask, because AirAsia has taken weeks to respond to previous inquiries.

Hi, hoping for advice please: out in Pattaya this evening and my husband is 99% sure he's left his phone in the taxi. We have no idea if it is worth the hassle of reporting cos we just got in a taxi at end of soi 6. No idea of the driver/car/id etc. Totally a lost cause or worth reporting to police? It's only the first day of holiday too ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

Hi guys,

Can anyone give me some advice to help me with one little worry I have that could happen in the future, I have sadly recently lost my thai partner, Iโ€™m trying now to get myself together and travel freely around Thailand to help my grieving with the car she left me, Iโ€™m confident on the thai roads surprisingly but have one little worry and that is breaking down, firstly you loose the air-con that is hard enough on itโ€™s own to accept under a stressful situation with no shade in site, then who do I call? had tire burst before and a local stopped told me go back in the car and he put the spare on and would not take any money same happened at a hotel we had a flat in the morning, fantastic people but breaking down is a little different, does Thailand have countrywide organised breakdown recovery hot lines like the UKs AA or RAC or something? I have been Googling but was wondering if anyone had first hand experience in this situation, thank you Mike

Hello everyone, sorry about him visa relates post ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ I'm looking a friend of mine, she is about 89 years old English lady by the name Elizabeth Kay. She travels a lot on her own and last update was leaving to Thailand on 17 or 16 March for visa run from a fellow traveler who stayed at same hostel with her. No one has heard from her officially (emails) since 8 December. Usually she will go to Kanchanaburi for visa runs. Below pic of her with me in Cameron Highlands and her in Malacca.

Please help if anyone have seen her or knows her. Everyone back home in UK is worried. Thank you stay safe people x
