Two years ago you would have told everybody that bogus EB or Voluntary Visas are just the way to go and they will never ever look into the archive, right, because the stamp was genuine? Your idea about Thailand is that money makes everything legal and no one will ever care. Then why don't you just advise ppl to go IM and offer them 10.000 THB to fix their retirement visa? Why get an agent for that?

, ok, maybe you have heard about the Immigration Bureau currently running a campaign against bogus ED and Voluntary Visas? The Elite Visa Office has announced that if you have those visas in the past and do not provide evidence that the visas were obtained legally, then you will not only be denied the Elite Visa they will not either pay back the (huge) fee. More and more reports from people applying for other visas as well. In the best case, you are naive to the extent that the Immigration Police don't accept it as an excuse. You simply have no clue of how things work in Thailand. But I guess you are in Thailand because here it is easier to bribe your way ahead. When you are expelled from Thailand, then you just move to a more corrupt country. But you don't have to try to fool everyone to do stupid as you do. Some of us have genuine reasons to stay in Thailand.

, I don't believe you are that stupid that you don't know what is going on when you pay agents high amounts of money to make basic requirements for getting a visa in question disappear? Do you really believe this is because those agents know a secret rule stating that if you pay a special fee to the IM, then you suddenly don't need to show 800k for a retirement visa? The stamp is genuine but obtained illegally. The moment the Immigration Bureau decides to run against the next type of visa and dig into the archives, then you are facing problems. But yes, as you arrived yesterday in Thailand, you don't know what has been going on here until yesterday. When I first time came to Thailand I was told that you just go to IM with 10,000 THB inside your passport and they just ask which kind of visa you wanted. That doesn't work any longer. Now it has become much more expensive...

If those agents are smart, then they let you sign a disclaimer stating that whatever they are doing for you is your responsibility. That is quite normal in Thailand. , you are full of never-ending BS. Get a life. I have been living in Thailand for 15 years. I have been around the world to more countries than you can only dream of. Agents are fully legal as long as they do not carry out services not legal. That is how it is all over the world - also in Thailand. If you ask an agent to do illegal services for you, then you will face obstacles in the long run. Things have changed a lot in Thailand while I have been here. Ppl are facing problems now that no one would ever have imagined just a few years ago. Ppl were paying agents for massive overstays and then suddenly 5 years later denied entry when arriving in Thailand. The agents are still advertising for bogus ED visas even though it should be very clear by now it is likely to cause problems in the short term also. You keep encouraging ppl to use this system of corruption and bribery even though you should know better unless you are only talking about yourself just arrived yesterday in Thailand and know nothing about the world outside Europe.

, who is patronizing you? We are currently seeing ppl. who have ED and Voluntary visas (in the past) being denied any kind of visa if they cannot prove the visas were genuine. Maybe you dont want this to happen to you in the future? But if you dont care, then your choice.
