What you should really do is go to the immigration office and get that stamp corrected because right now you hold a valid visa in your passport BUT you're not stamped in the country on it. :/
The up side is I bet you will check your stamp before you walk away from the passport control counter now..

One time i applied visa student ED....they write TR like a tourist visa ...must go immigration chaeng wattana for they correct that

I have to leave Thailand in 3 weeks anyway, so this time it doesn't matter.

I'd go to immigration and get it changed as soon as possible. I usually flag the page with the visa in it. An I/O almost stamped me in on a 30 days as well.
