yes but that isn't happening anymore.

They are sending people to quarantine at home. And for a tourist that means a hotel that will accept a covid positive person. A quarantine hotel.

Is that covered?

where do people get sent when they test positive, asymptomatic, on their departure PCR?

Will it cover asymptomatic stays in a hotel. Home isolation. This is where a lot of people are getting caught out as Thailands hospitals are getting full, more and more are getting told to isolate at home. Also testing positive prior to flying home and needing a quarantine hotel

it's easy to go the legal route if you have the cash, and less problems later on.

Once you start with an agent, it's hard to get off. As you'll face a barrage of legit questions when you put your passport in front of your local immigration officer, with hooky stamps from the other side of the country.
