@Klaus *****
ah so,

Arrival 60+30

Then

Bounce 1, 60+30,

Early bounce 2 (while visa still valid) 60+30

just to clarify it's only 30 days, not 60 per crossing. Max of two land crossings in any calendar year. You'll also need to satisfy the Thai pass requirements, if still in operation etc...

@Howard ******
yeah, that need to go online and submit a report 4 times a year is a real nightmare...

thank you for clarifying, much appreciated. And great news for me, on a retirement non-o. Previously on, TR60, 30 day extensions and covid extensions etc... I'd been going through pages in my passport faster than a teenager writing a diary of his first love.

@Ellie ******
thanks again for another good steer. 🙏

If I'm hearing you correctly, one can go straight from a marriage extension to a retirement extension, without needing to do a "90 day change visa" (as when going onto non-o retirement for the first time) when you have to wait for the home visit and then return to get the visa stamped in. I didn't know that. Many thanks again.

I still needed most of that list apart from the Kors for my change to non-o retirement, and subsequent extension.

Pics (they came around to take), map, copy of lease, signed copy of my partners id, affidavit from her we live together (it's her lease), 800k in the bank, bank letter, foreign transfer confirmation, TM30. Copies of passport, all pages since arrival, id page, TM6, 90 day report.

You will get 30 days added to your existing stamp, regardless of when you apply for the extension.

It's always worth making an appointment, in my experience at other immigration offices. Best to print off the confirmation and take with. Thailand loves a paper trail. You can make the appointment here...

thanks for that explanation. Much appreciated

ah, that I didn't know. It's not possible to cancel it at immigration, or leave without completing a re-entry permit. (I know little about non-o visa's apart from most people on them want to change them to non-o). I'd welcome your thoughts
