the January amendment included a number of additions, some of which were rolled back on in March.

all my 8 covid extensions have cost 1900THB each

the clause was added earlier this year, it hasn't always been like that

if I remember correctly the current iteration of the covid extension includes a clause stating that the normal 30 day extension needs to be done first

Is a quoted fee of 30,000 baht for a retirement visa processing fair?

To obtain the non-o in country and putting 800k into a Thai bank account costs 2000THB for the first 90 days, and the 1900THB for the following 12 months.

It's not that difficult to do yourself.

Come on a 60 day tourist visa extendable once for 30 days. Visit a neighbouring country and obtain a second 60 day tourist visa and extend that.
