Why do you have to do a border bounce on a retirement visa? As long as your visa is still valid you can stay for as long as you want and just do 90 day reports

Fitted sheets are very common - you just need to know your mattress size and depth - which is difficult if you don't know what bed you are going to have if living in a rental

No visa needed for Vietnam and the last time we went to Cambodia it was visa on arrival for UK passports

British Nationals can enter Vietnam for up to 15 days for tourism, transit and business (but not paid or voluntary work) without needing to apply for a visa

For Cambodia tourist visas can be applied for online or obtained on arrival
